The election for Kansas City Mayor always seemed so far away. Now it’s decision time. As Mayor Sly James winds down eight years as Kansas City's top elected official, the question now is who will replace him? There's a sprawling field of eleven candidates wanting the job. If you still haven’t made up your mind. We have your back. Meet the men and women who say they have what it takes to be your next Mayor. But do they? With the stakes so high, KCPT's Nick Haines casts aside the usual debate formalities to prod and poke the candidates in a candid conversation about their ability to lead and their capacity to fix the city's thorniest problems. No time-limits. No lengthy campaign statements. We're getting to the heart of the matter.
